AUSTRALIAN SPACE STARTUPS
FROM CONCEPT TO ON-ORBIT FLIGHT

WOLFPACK SPACE HUB

TYPE : Commercial

LOCATION: Waterloo, NSW

YEAR: 2022

Space manufacturer startups working on space-bound satellites. Inspired by the captivating world of spacecraft, our architectural vision immerses everyone in an atmosphere that exudes contemporary technology and creativity.

Situated within an existing timber structure building, enhanced with reinforced steel elements, our design beautifully harmonizes the contrasting aesthetics of old and new. This fusion of architectural styles creates a captivating backdrop for the groundbreaking work taking place within.

Our thoughtfully crafted spaces cater to every aspect of satellite development, providing a comprehensive environment for 3D printing, prototyping, robot manufacturing, meeting rooms and dedicated workstations. The seamless integration of these areas encourages collaboration, allowing ideas to flourish and breakthroughs to be achieved.

At every turn, our design embraces the essence of futuristic exploration, instilling a sense of purpose and excitement in all who enter. Since this project was finalised, many other enterprises have stablished arrangements with this hub for innovation as it is the case of The University of NSW; Wolfpack will operate as UNSW’s non-exclusive incubator for the university’s space startups while UNSW will provide the startups with access to equipment at ACSER (Australian Centre for Space Engineering Research), including a thermal vacuum chamber, an anechoic chamber, vibration testing equipment, frictionless air beds and Helmholtz coils.

Join Wolfpack on this transformative journey as we shape the future of space technology, together. For another Space related architecture project, check our design of Saber Astronautics in Lot 14.
